Community Outreach & Public Relations Intern
Reese Navarez is an undergraduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, majoring in Organizational and Community Leadership with a minor in Business Administration Management and a Pre-Law focus. She holds an AA in Arts from Elgin Community College and is expected to graduate with her BA next spring. Her background in leadership and communication, paired with hands-on experience as a private tutor and personal trainer, has given her the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and tailor her approach to meet different needs. These roles have strengthened her professionalism, adaptability, and ability to lead with empathy.
She is particularly drawn to Community Outreach and Public Relations because of its substantial impact and interpersonal nature—an environment in which she thrives. Building meaningful relationships with others is both a priority and an asset in any career, and it is something she discovered she is passionate about through her academic and work experiences. With a deep understanding of how to motivate and connect with individuals, Reese is well-prepared to support Bevell’s Advocate in amplifying its mission and strengthening its presence within the community.
