Grant Writing Intern
Mykola (Nyk) Klymenko is an incoming UCLA student with a strong interest in justice, writing,
and civics. A Grant Writing Intern for Bevell’s Advocate, Mykola aspires to build skills that’ll be
relevant to his career in law while supporting Bevell’s Advocate’s cause.
Being a first generation Ukrainian immigrant and advocate for his community, Mykola is
passionate about assisting disadvantaged groups and promoting global justice. He especially
loves contributing through his writing – he demonstrates his passion through his published
letters, research works, and position here.
In his upcoming years in UCLA and Bevell’s Advocate, Mykola is determined to further his
experience in the civic field as well as reach and support communities/individuals in need.
