Chelsea Cardona

Grant Writing Intern

Chelsea Cardona is a graduate student pursuing a Master of Public Administration in the Non-profit Administration track. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. She is a Grant Writing Intern at Bevell’s Advocate. Her hands-on experience as a teacher assistant and in child care settings has given her a strong understanding of how access, support, and resources shape children’s development. Through these roles, Chelsea developed the ability to work with diverse families, adapt to individual needs, and approach her work with empathy and intention. These experiences strengthened her commitment to equity and her desire to support systems that create meaningful opportunities for all children.

She is drawn to advocacy and nonprofit work because of its direct impact on communities and its focus on creating equitable access to important resources. Supporting families and students by working toward more inclusive education systems is not only a professional goal but a personal passion. Chelsea is eager to contribute to Bevell’s Advocate’s mission by supporting grant writing efforts and helping secure funding to expand access to services for families within the community.
